Hartman Income REIT, one of the premier commercial property management companies, seeks motivated, entrepreneurial and sales-driven experienced Leasing Agents to join our dynamic leasing/sales team. Our impressive portfolio offers leasing opportunities on 27 buildings, comprised of more than 3.5 million square feet.
Purpose:
To increase property occupancy and generate revenue on all buildings through the procurement of new leases. To promote company image through extensive marketing efforts and building relationships with brokerage community.
Individual Job Responsibilities:
• Cold calling, networking & canvassing of market to foster leads and follow to existing leasing opportunities.
• The Leasing Agent is responsible for procuring and managing all stages of the commercial lease transaction from prospecting, negotiating lease terms, and closing new deals.
• Review and manage lease administration and submit recommended leases to the President SVP of Leasing for approval.
Education & Experience Required:
• Substantial experience in “landlord representation” and working with local brokerage community.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in commercial property leasing, with a proven track record of sourcing tenants for office buildings, retail and industrial properties and lease negotiations.
Purpose:
The property manager is responsible for maintaining the physical and financial performance of their assigned asset and to ensure that tenants receive the highest level of customer service possible. The property manager is also responsible for enhancing the physical asset by monitoring preventative maintenance programs and capital improvement efforts.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of the property and its tenants.
• Scheduling and managing property maintenance and building projects.
• Compiling data for financial reports and preparing budgets.
• Tenant relations – resolving customer and public complaints.
• Maintaining records, reports and files.
• Evaluating performance of employees.
• Ensure building retains occupancy through several avenues of exceeded expectations of public relations.
• Knowledgeable of building codes and governmental regulations for construction.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in commercial property management.
• Strong computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi.
• Bachelors degree and / or equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to industry.
• RPA and/or CPM certification encouraged.
