Garden Oaks Shopping Center To Open Aldi in 2019
Hartman Income REIT’s Houston-based property, Garden Oaks, has acquired tenants over the last year including: Lifesavers ER and Dollar Tree, both of which are currently open for business and have increase traffic in the Garden Oaks shopping center. Aldi—a tenant also acquired last year will open during the third quarter of 2019.

Hartman Income REIT Management, Inc. have completed the Garden Oaks Shopping Center– adding a new
façade, remodeling the pad site and adding square footage allowing for more tenants.
Hartman Income REIT Management, Inc. has added 12,000 square feet to Garden Oaks Shopping Center to create more space for new tenants. Construction is currently underway; however, it is expected to have a finished exterior within the final few months of 2018. After renovations have been completed, Garden Oaks will have 8,514 rentable square feet available for lease.
Lifesavers 24-hour Emergency Room will occupy space totaling 6,300 square feet. Dollar Tree has leased the pad site totaling 4,700 square feet and will be moved into that space soon. Aldi has secured a suite located at the north-end of Garden Oaks Shopping Center and will occupy the space in 2019. “We have been anticipating our three new tenants at Garden Oaks Shopping Center for a while and we welcome them with open arms,” said Al Hartman, President and CEO at Hartman Income REIT Management, Inc., “our customers are our number one priority and we are happy to accommodate them in any way we can.” Lifesavers ER, Aldi and DT leasing space at Garden Oaks will bring the occupancy to 92.6 percent, a 17.1 percent growth from last year at this time.
